I’m excited to announce a new partnership with EJEAS Official Website, who have kindly sent me the new EJEAS X10 Phantom motorcycle intercom system to test and review.
I’ve got three units to try out, which is ideal because it means I can properly test real-world rider-to-rider communication with my wife and the kids on group rides rather than just doing a quick setup in the garage.
After spending some time with the system, my first impressions are honestly very positive.
The first thing I noticed about the EJEAS X10 Phantom is how premium it feels for the price. The unit is solid, compact and well made, easily competing with far more expensive motorcycle Bluetooth intercom systems on the market.
The buttons are large, tactile and easy to use while wearing motorcycle gloves — something that’s surprisingly important when riding. Whether changing volume, answering calls or controlling the mesh intercom, everything feels simple and rider-friendly.
Installation is also straightforward. EJEAS includes both an adhesive helmet mount and a clip mount in the box. I decided to use the clip mount for my setup, and fitting the system to the helmet only took a few minutes.
The EJEAS X10 Phantom offers great build quality
When it comes to audio quality, the EJEAS X10 Phantom performs really well for the money.
Voice clarity during intercom conversations is excellent, and music playback is clear enough for everyday riding. The only slight weakness I’ve noticed so far is that bass response is a little off when turned up loud
That said, for sat nav directions, phone calls, rider communication and casual music listening, the sound quality is more than good enough for most riders.
One of the standout features of the EJEAS X10 Phantom is its Mesh communication technology.
The standard X10 Phantom allows up to 10 riders to communicate together in a Mesh group, while the X10 Phantom Plus version reportedly supports up to 100 riders. According to EJEAS, the system uses Mesh, Bluetooth and 5G communication technology to provide stable long-distance rider communication with improved connection reliability in tunnels, bends and difficult riding environments.
The mesh setup process was surprisingly easy. Pairing the units together took very little time, and the connection has been stable during testing so far.
Another major advantage is Bluetooth compatibility with other motorcycle intercom brands, making it easier to ride with friends who may already use different communication systems.
The EJEAS X10 Phantom also includes several useful features for touring and everyday riding, including:
Mesh and Bluetooth communication
Music sharing
FM radio
Smartphone app support
Firmware updates
Simultaneous music and intercom audio
Long battery life of up to 15 hours in Mesh mode
For riders looking for a budget motorcycle intercom with premium-style features, the spec sheet is genuinely impressive.
Right now, my early answer would be yes.
The motorcycle intercom market has become incredibly expensive over the last few years, especially when looking at premium Mesh systems. The EJEAS X10 Phantom seriously undercuts many of the big-name competitors while still offering impressive build quality, easy setup and reliable Mesh communication features.
Of course, this is only my first impressions article, and I’ll be doing a full long-term EJEAS X10 Phantom review soon after more testing on motorway rides, group rides and longer touring days.
But based on what I’ve seen so far, this could easily become one of the best budget motorcycle intercom systems available right now.
