If you're looking to upgrade your motorcycle with high-tech safety features, integrated navigation, and real-time riding data, the Chigee AIO6 Max might be exactly what you need. In this in-depth review, I take a close look at this powerful unit, which I've tested extensively on my Suzuki V-STROM 1050DE.
Whether you're an everyday commuter or a weekend explorer, the Chigee AIO6 Max brings modern connectivity, rider safety, and video capture to your handlebars – and it does so with premium build quality.
The Chigee AIO-6 Max's display with Fusion, it allows you to have Android Auto / Carplay and stats from the main system
The Chigee AIO6 Max is a high-end motorcycle smart display designed to enhance rider safety, navigation, and data tracking. It’s a follow-up to the popular AO5 unit, offering a larger screen, upgraded features, and improved camera quality.
The main unit alone provides full functionality with Android Auto, lean angle detection, and a vivid, auto-brightening display. Everything beyond the screen – such as cameras, OBD module, tire pressure sensors, and remote controls – is optional and can be added based on your needs and budget.

While the AIO6 Max screen can work independently, my review includes several of Chigee’s optional extras:
Front and rear 1080p dash cams
Wireless tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS)
Quick release mounting kit
Wireless OBD2 module
Wireless handlebar remote
All of these enhance the system but aren’t required to benefit from the unit’s core features.

CHIGEE AIO-6 MAX REAR CAMERA

I mounted the front camera under the peak of the screen and the rear cam on the rear fender. Everything connected easily and feels solid – thanks to Chigee’s premium build quality, with metal brackets and weather-resistant cabling.
The unit powers up with the ignition and automatically adjusts brightness based on ambient light. The screen is readable in full sunlight and remains glare-resistant.
The AIO6 Max offers full Android Auto support, giving you access to Google Maps, Spotify, and messaging apps right on your dash. I’ve tested it with both Google Maps and OSMAND – both worked seamlessly.
With the front and rear cameras installed, the system records in crisp 1080p at 60fps. It loops in 3-minute clips and stores footage on a microSD card (I used a 128GB card, good for a full day's ride).
The unit displays:
Speed
Battery voltage
Altitude
Daily mileage
And more...
One of the most impressive native features of the AIO6 Max is its built-in lean angle sensor. Unlike some systems that rely on OBD data, lean angle tracking is handled directly by the main unit, giving accurate real-time feedback on your riding posture and cornering angles. Maximum lean is even recorded and highlighted in red.
With the optional OBD2 module, you can also view:
RPM
Engine temperature
Real-time engine diagnostics
But to be clear – OBD is not required for lean angle tracking.
BSD uses the rear camera to monitor vehicles entering your blind spots. When active (above 30mph), the system displays visual warnings if another vehicle is detected to the left or right. You can adjust sensitivity to suit your riding style.
If the system detects a crash, it automatically locks the video footage and triggers an SOS prompt. I accidentally dropped the bike while testing and it immediately asked if I wanted to send for help – a great peace-of-mind feature for solo riders.
The AIO6 Max screen is easy to read even in direct sunlight. Navigating through menus is smooth using the touchscreen, physical buttons, or the wireless remote. The interface is simple, smart, and well thought out.
Camera footage is clear and stable. While not on par with an action cam, it's more than good enough for recording rides or evidence in the event of an incident.
The quick release bracket sticks out a bit and may cause vibration at speed – I might swap it for a fixed mount.
No LTE functionality unless you buy the AIO6 LTE model.
Some third-party apps need a paid upgrade to work with Android Auto.
Yes – especially if you’re a serious rider who values safety, data, and high-quality navigation. The Chigee AIO6 Max is one of the most feature-rich and professionally built motorcycle displays available today.
With modular options and smart integrations, it adapts to your riding needs. Whether you're green laning, touring, or commuting, it enhances both safety and convenience.

Motorcycle technology has come a long way, and smart units are quickly becoming an essential part of the modern riding experience. These devices integrate features like head-up displays, navigation, communication, and safety tools into one seamless system, allowing riders to stay informed without distraction. From GPS overlays to real-time connectivity, smart riding units are changing the way we interact with our bikes.
One brand that has been leading the charge is Chigee. If you’ve been following my content, you’ll know I covered the AIO-5 in depth. It was an impressive piece of kit, offering a head-up display and smart integration, but it wasn’t perfect. Well, Chigee has been listening, and they’re back with a serious upgrade: the AIO-6 Motorcycle Smart Riding System.
Here are some stand out features of the CHIGEE AIO-6
4G Network Connectivity *(AIO-LTE MODEL)
Monitor your motorcycle's location and status in real-time via smartphone with our groundbreaking 4G-enabled system. Security that travels with you, wherever the road leads.
Security Shield *
Powerful monitoring features protect against theft. When sensors detect vibration or impact, instant notifications alert your smartphone. Optional integrated camera allows real-time video monitoring, giving you complete awareness of your motorcycle's situation from anywhere.
Emergency SOS*
Automatic emergency response system activates during accidents. If a collision occurs, a 60-second countdown appears on-screen. Without manual cancellation, the system automatically contacts your pre-registered emergency contacts, ensuring help arrives when you need it most.
Geofencing*
Set your protection radius from hundreds of meters to several kilometers. Create tailored safety zones around your home, workplace, or your child's school route—complete flexibility for your specific security needs.
Real-Time Tracking*
Easily review detailed riding records on your smartphone. Our dedicated app captures your routes in real-time, preserving your touring memories as beautiful visual pathways to revisit and share.
Ever wondered what your helmet cam is actually recording?
The CHIGEE and Insta360 AIO-6 display puts real-time previews and full camera control right in front of you. No more blind filming or fumbling with buttons—start recording, pause, or take photos with a quick tap. Whether you're capturing epic rides or everyday commutes, you’ll have a smoother, more controlled filming experience.
Compatible with Insta360 (X4, ACE, ACE PRO2).
This interesting team up with Insta 360 could make vlogging that little bit easier!
Unveiled at the EICMA Motorcycle Show in November 2024, the AIO-6 has already turned heads, and for good reason. It’s designed to take everything the AIO-5 did well and make it even better. Here’s what’s new:
One of the standout upgrades is the 6-inch larger display, offering enhanced visibility for smoother navigation. If you’ve used the AIO-5, you’ll know the screen was functional but could feel a bit cramped, especially when checking route details on the move. This upgrade should make a big difference, especially for long-distance riders.
Chigee has completely redesigned the user interface, making it more intuitive and rider-focused. The AIO-5 had a decent UI, but it sometimes felt a little clunky, especially when navigating through different functions. If they’ve streamlined this experience, it should make interacting with the system much smoother and safer while riding.
The AIO-6 introduces a quick-release design, available in standard and BMW-specific options. This is a nice touch for those who want a modular system that can be easily removed when needed. If you’ve ever struggled with mounting or dismounting tech from your bike, you’ll appreciate this.
This one’s a big deal. The AIO-5 had a camera, but it wasn’t as seamless as a dedicated dashcam. The AIO-6 now offers an optional dashcam integration, meaning you can record your rides with ease. Whether you’re documenting your adventures or just want extra security in case of incidents, this is a welcome addition.
Chigee has added optional 4G network connectivity, making it easier to stay connected on the go. While the AIO-5 had Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, it wasn’t always the most reliable when it came to real-time updates. If 4G connectivity is solid, this could be a game-changer for riders who rely on live navigation and communication
Having reviewed the AIO-5, I can confidently say that while it was a great system, there was room for improvement. Here’s how the AIO-6 stacks up against its predecessor:
Pre-orders for the AIO-6 are expected to start in Q1 2025, with deliveries estimated between June and July 2025, depending on the chosen configuration. Of course, these dates could shift depending on production progress, but if you’re keen to get your hands on one, keep an eye out for official updates.
Keep up to date here https://www.chigee.com
The AIO-6 looks like a significant step up from the AIO-5. With a larger display, refined UI, better mounting options, dashcam support, and 4G connectivity, it has the potential to be a must-have for tech-savvy riders. Of course, the real test will be in real-world conditions, so I’ll be getting my hands on one for a full review as soon as possible.
Stay tuned for updates, and in the meantime, let me know – is the AIO-6 something you’d add to your riding setup?
