The QJ Motor SRK 921 is a 124bhp naked bike that, on paper, promises a lot for the money. But does it actually deliver out on the road—especially in proper British conditions?
After spending some time riding it (in absolutely miserable weather, naturally), here’s the honest take.

I wasn’t completely sold when I first saw the SRK 921 in pictures. But in person, it’s a different story entirely.
Up close, the detailing is impressive. It’s a sharp-looking, compact machine with a premium feel that you might not expect at this price point. The exhaust design in particular stands out—not just visually, but in how it integrates the rear foot pegs. It’s a clever bit of design that adds something a little different.
And yes… it sounds great too Check out my Video for full sound check
Foot pegs for the pillion built into the exhaust is a nice touch
QJ Motor hasn’t held back on the spec sheet. You’re getting:
Brembo brakes (front and rear, plus clutch)
Marzocchi suspension and steering damper
Traction control and rider modes
Quick shifter
Cruise control
Heated grips
Built-in dash cam (1080p front camera)
Clear, easy-to-read TFT display
For a bike sitting just under £9,000, that’s a seriously strong package.
The inline-four engine is the highlight here.
It’s incredibly smooth across the rev range, with strong, usable torque. There’s no harshness, no jerkiness—just clean, predictable power delivery whether you’re crawling through town or opening it up.
With 124bhp on tap, it’s more than enough for UK roads. In fact, in the wet conditions I was riding in, there was no need to push it anywhere near its limits.
The quick shifter is also impressively smooth, adding to that refined feel.
Pirelli rubber and Marzochi suspenders makes for a sporty ride
Despite the terrible weather—heavy rain, greasy roads—the SRK 921 felt planted and confident.
The bike absorbs bumps reasonably well
It feels stable at motorway speeds
Pirelli tyres add to the confidence
That said, the suspension is on the stiffer side. On rough country lanes, it can feel a bit harsh and unsettled at times.
Still, for everyday riding and faster roads, it performs well.
This is where things get a bit more subjective.
The SRK 921 is a compact bike. At 6’6” with a 36-inch inseam, I was definitely cramped:
Legs feel tucked up
Handlebars are quite close
Limited room to move around
That said, I still managed about an hour in the saddle without major discomfort. The seat is decent, and for shorter riders, this could actually be a very comfortable setup.
If you’re tall, though, it’s something you’ll need to consider.
The SRK 921 is a little cramped for my 6'6 frame
The standard exhaust deserves a mention.
It’s got a lovely overrun burble and a genuinely satisfying tone straight from the factory—no need to swap it out immediately. That’s a big plus.
The QJ Motor SRK 921 is an impressive machine, especially when you consider the price.
Pros:
Excellent spec for the money
Smooth, strong engine
Premium components (Brembo, Marzocchi)
Great exhaust sound
Packed with modern features
Cons:
Compact size won’t suit taller riders
Slightly stiff suspension on rough roads
Styling might divide opinion (until you see it in person)
For under £9k, this bike offers a huge amount. It’s smooth, well-equipped, and genuinely fun to ride—even in the worst weather.
If you’re after a mid-to-high performance naked bike that doesn’t break the bank, the SRK 921 is absolutely worth a look.
Just make sure you fit on it.
