Could this be one of the new models?

Norton’s been steadily rebuilding under TVS ownership for a few years now, and things are looking properly solid. With the V4SV and Commando 961 already out there, the brand’s next step is expanding the line-up — and that means a bunch of new model names have started popping up. The latest trademarks hint that Norton’s gearing up for a much broader range of bikes than before, covering everything from sporty roadsters to adventure machines.
First up, the Electra name has been revived — a nod to the 1960s original. It could point to a mid-capacity bike (somewhere around 400–450cc), or maybe even a move toward electric power. Either way, it shows Norton’s planning to reach a wider audience rather than focusing solely on big, premium machines.
Alongside the Electra, Norton has also filed trademarks for Fastback, Navigator, Nomad, Ranger, and Combat.
Each name has a bit of Norton heritage behind it and gives a clue about what’s to come:
Fastback – likely a sporty, retro-styled model.
Navigator – could be a road-focused tourer.
Nomad and Ranger – both sound adventure-ready, possibly scramblers or dual-sport bikes.
Combat – maybe a high-performance streetfighter or track-inspired machine.
If these names make it to production, we could see Norton branching into several new categories — not just high-end roadsters.
What's going to be the next bike from Norton?
Norton has said it plans to launch several new models by 2026, and these trademarks are probably the first hints of what’s on the way.
Production is expected to continue at the Solihull factory for the premium models, but with TVS’s support, Norton has the flexibility to expand globally and offer bikes to a much wider range of riders.
